  • DATE: June 16-20, 2014
  • TUITION: $490 / $450 if postmarked by March 15 
    Tuition includes all classes, lectures, and performances.  Observer package also available.

  • MEALS: Multiple food options are available on the George Mason campus.  In addition, restaurants with grocery stores are located near the participant's hotel.  More information will be forthcoming.
  • MATERIALS: Participants will be sent music ahead of time. 
    Repertoire may include works by
    C.P.E. Bach, W.F. Bach, Biber, Corelli, Lully, Muffat and Vivaldi.
  • REQUIREMENTS: EMMI is designed for the professional level string player.

    Application deadline MAY 15. Reduced rate deadline MARCH 15.
    Tuition is due upon notification of acceptance. The $25 fee is non-refundable and will not be applied toward tuition.
  • SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY: The R. G. Fox Tuition Scholarships are designed for a string quartet of professional level players currently enrolled in a graduate or doctoral performance program.  Players who received their degrees in 2013 are also eligible.  Quartet members will participate in all weekly activities.  During the chamber music sessions, they will work directly with the conducting participants.  For more information visit Performance Practice for Conductors.
